Emergency Medical Services |

Telluride Fire Protection District, created in 1966, governs the area Emergency Medical Services. The district runs 4 ambulances daily and holds 1 in reserve. Three full time paramedics work out of the EMS offices with one on duty at all times. The balance of the EMS is provided by trained volunteers.
