Telluride Fire Protection District (TFPD) is working to increase its coverage area.   This additional coverage will add 150 square miles and incorporate the communities of the Peninsual HOA, the Top of the World HOA and the Great American HOA.    Properties included will become part of the taxing district.  TFPD already responds to the area proposed for inclusion, and any fire codes or regulations are currently reviewd by the Fire Marshall of TFPD.
